For most of my career, my creative tool was a canvas. Figma, Illustrator, a sketchbook, a wall. Something visual I could mess with.
For almost two years, that canvas has been a terminal.
A black screen where I spend my days talking to agents, running commands, reviewing code, giving feedback, spinning up more agents, and trying to keep track of everything they’re doing.
It’s strange because I’ve never been more productive. I can build in a day what would’ve taken me weeks. I can explore ten ideas in parallel instead of one. I can ship faster than ever.
